NJSLA Science State Testing - 5/11 & 5/12 (Juniors Only)

The purpose of this post is to provide you with information on our state testing schedule for May. All 11th grade students will be taking the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) Science. NJSLA Science on 5/11 & 5/12 Thursday, 5/11, Day 2 (2 units) Friday, 5/12, Day 3 (2 units) AM Testing Only 8 - 10:30am (Approximately) In an effort to minimize disruption to our educational program, Waldwick High School will isolate the Grade 11 students for testing.  Instructional classes will continue for students in Grades 9, 10 and 12 while testing is taking place. Students will receive their testing locations from their Language Arts teacher. Please note: If a student completes a unit early, students are permitted to read a recreational book. Students who are absent on the day of testing will be required to make up the NJSLA assessment at a later date within the testing window. This webinar is entitled, The Dangers of Vaping, and is presented by Hackensack Meridian Health. PSAT 10 - Class of 2025 (April 20, 2023)

Waldwick High School will be hosting the PSAT 10 for all current Sophomores - Class of 2025, on Thursday, April 20, 2023. This test will be available to Sophomores only. We offer this national test free of charge during the school day. The PSAT is an excellent opportunity to prepare and gain an understanding of the SAT exam.  If there is a parent/guardian who wishes not to have their child sit for the test, I ask that you have a conversation with your child's school counselor prior to making that decision. If you choose to opt your child out, please complete this Google Form so I can remove their name from the list. * Opt-out Form  (Please complete the form by Wednesday, April 18) Info for PSAT 10 Testing Day - Thursday, 4/20/23 All Sophomores should report to the cafeteria by 8am. The Warrior Marching Band Open House

Dear Grade 9-11 Families and Students, The Waldwick Warrior Marching Band invites ALL current 9th, 10th and 11th grade WHS students to join for the upcoming 2023-2024 competitive season! Everyone is welcome, no prior experience is needed! The Warrior Marching Band open house will take place on Tuesday, May 2, at 6:30PM in HS RM 423 (the High School Band Room) - students AND parents must attend if you're considering joining. The open house will include a presentation from the Marching Band Directors which will last ~1 hour. If you are interested in joining the marching band & would like to know more info, please refer to the Marching Band Q&A doc.
