Class of 2024 - High School Scheduling for 20-21 SY

On Wednesday, January 22, the high school guidance counselors, Mrs. Gastman and Mrs. Fortini will be meeting with the eighth grade students regarding their schedule for next year. Students will be making their requests online for the elective courses they are interested in using this form:
Course Selection Form 20-21 SY (This form was emailed to the students and can only be completed by a Waldwick School District Student) 

The core academic courses (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies & World Language) are based on a placement test, current grades and teacher recommendations and will be posted in March for student/parent review.

Students who are interested in enrolling in any of the Honors Programs* (Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and World Languages) need to indicate that by completing this online form by 8am on Monday, January 27.
Interested in 9th Grade Honors Courses
(This form was emailed to the students and can only be completed by a Waldwick School District Student) 
*Students who are interested in the Honors Program will need to take a placement test in each subject area. Honors math does not require a placement test.

The Scheduling tab will be available on Genesis Parent Access in late March for you to review final placements and your child's selections. An email will be sent to advise when the tab is available.

I understand this is new to most of the parents/guardians; however, I am available to answer any questions that you might have.
