Semester 1 Assessments will take place from January 23 to January 26, 2024. WHS will be running a modified schedule with two assessments per day. Students will have a delayed opening with a 9:02am start and an early release at 1:56pm.

Here is the Schedule for the four days. 

A few items to clarify:
  • Each assessment block is 2 hours
  • For Semester 1 Assessments, all classes will meet regardless whether they are giving an assessment or not. Example Related Arts, PE, electives, etc.
  • Assessments will include Multiple Units/Skills and Standards, but not everything that was covered during the first semester.
  • The Semester 1 Assessment counts as 6% of the overall class grade. Each marking period is 22% (4) and each semester assessment is 6% (2)
  • Common lunch will run from 11:04 - 11:54am.
  • Juniors and Seniors do not need to report to Study Hall during Semester Assessments.
  • All students are dismissed at 1:56pm during the four days of Semester Assessments.
