WHS Students and Parents/Guardians: The Waldwick Office of Emergency Management has issued the attached State of Emergency in the Borough of Waldwick which will remain in effect until further notice. Full Waldwick State of Emergency Two key points that affect our students which I need to make sure we all understand. As of 3pm on Friday, March 13, the Waldwick Board of Education closed all schools and fields. All fields were locked, but I know over the weekend and maybe even today some of our students were utilizing the fields. It needs to stop! I know there are athletes that want to work out and stay ready for their next season but we are all being advised that it’s just not smart. Below are two items that are included in the Waldwick’s State of Emergency Plan: You can workout on your own to stay in shape but getting together with friends/teammates is just not recommended and cannot happen on school/town property.  As a parent, I understand the frustration of not allo...
