Full Day Schedule - Starts Monday, May 3rd
Final details on the full day schedule starting Monday, May 3rd.
Blog post from last week - WHS Schedule for the Reminder of the School Year
LEAVING SCHOOL EARLY
All students regardless of age, who request to leave school before the end of the day must present a signed note by the parent/guardian to the Attendance Secretary before the start of Block 1. This includes students 17 and under wishing to attend school sponsored events during school hours. The note must include the date, the requested dismissal time and a parent or guardian's daytime telephone number (to verify the request).
Only the parent/guardian or designee (21 or older) may sign the student out at time of dismissal. If a student leaves school early, they will not be able to participate in after school sports/activities unless the student provides proper documentation to excuse the absence. It is strongly suggested that requests for leaving early be made as infrequently as possible. Classes missed because of leaving early will count as absences. These absences will count toward the marking period/semester absence limit.
