Mental Health Program for High School and Middle School Parents Staff from WHS and WMS have been working in conjunction with two local organizations on developing Mental Health Workshops and resources for the Waldwick community.  The two organizations are: People Are There (PAT) and The Nick Negron Mental Health Foundation. Dear Parents and Guardians; As you know from Dr. Casarico’s most recent email, which was sent out the week before the break, Waldwick High School will be implementing the next step in our Return to School Plan. This new component to our program will take effect on Monday, May 3, 2021. Please know that in developing this new schedule, we have adhered to our goal of safely providing more in-person learning to our students. As we begin the spring season, we are reaching out to ask that if your child has seasonal allergies, please provide documentation of these allergies from either an allergist or pediatrician. This documentation should include the doctor's diagnosis, allergy symptoms, and any medication they will be taking. This spring will be a challenge as we are in the middle of a global pandemic trying to control the spread of a virus that has very similar and overlapping symptoms with allergy symptoms (see Venn diagram below). There may be times a student exhibits symptoms in school that overlap with Covid symptoms.
