the third year in a row, Waldwick HS will be providing all athletes with the Impact
Baseline Test. This is a preventative measure that will help reduce prolonged
brain injury.Impact provides a
computerized neurocognitive assessment that measures levels such as reaction
time and memory. When a head injury
occurs, the baseline score will be compared to a post test that the athlete
would have to take.A doctor will not
allow an athlete back on the playing field until the post test score is at an
acceptable level when compared to the athlete’s baseline test. Additional information on Impact Testing can
be found on the website www.impacttest.com.

This year the athletic department will be using a new computer program for athletic scheduling. You will no longer be able to access Waldwick Athletic Schedules from highschoolsports.net. We are now using a program called RSchool Today. Please add the following site to your favorites to access sports schedules: NJIC League Site You will also notice a parent guide at the bottom of the home page that shares additional information about this new program (See Link below).
One of the most helpful features of the Calendar is the “Notify Me” function. If you click “Notify
Me” from the main calendar screen, you can get text messages to your cell
phone or email notifications for both event reminders and any schedule changes.
If you are planning on attending an athletic event during the school year and need directions please log on to NJIC League Site for Directions, on the left hand side of the homepage you will see a tab for directions, click on the tab, locate the team that Waldwick is playing and it will give you directions to the specific athletic fields that the opposing teams play at.
