NJ State Testing Canceled (No NJSLA Testing)  Given the continued threat of COVID-19 to our school communities & the resulting school closures, @GovMurphy has announced that NJ is cancelling all statewide student assessments for the spring 2020 testing window. New Jersey Cancels Statewide Student Assessments AP Testing (Advanced Placement Courses)  Here’s what you need to know: Shorter: Exams will be only 45 minutes long (vs. 3 hours normally). No multiple choice! The exam will be entirely comprised of free response questions (FRQs). We won’t know more about exact FRQ formats until we hear from the College Board® again on April 3. Limited content: Exams will NOT include any content typically covered after early March. Online: Exams can be taken online either at home or at school. WHS Students and Parents/Guardians: The Waldwick Office of Emergency Management has issued the attached State of Emergency in the Borough of Waldwick which will remain in effect until further notice. Full Waldwick State of Emergency Two key points that affect our students which I need to make sure we all understand. As of 3pm on Friday, March 13, the Waldwick Board of Education closed all schools and fields. All fields were locked, but I know over the weekend and maybe even today some of our students were utilizing the fields. It needs to stop! I know there are athletes that want to work out and stay ready for their next season but we are all being advised that it’s just not smart.
