Heroin and Opiate Abuse - A Program for Parents

The Borough of Waldwick's Stigma-Free Initiative and Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission will host the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office for a presentation on the dangers of experimentation with prescription medications, specifically opiates, and how they correspond directly to the increase in heroin use by young people. The event will take place Monday, April 30 th , 2018, 7:00 pm, Little Theater, Waldwick High School, 155 Wyckoff Avenue, Waldwick, NJ 07463. Presenters will provide first-hand accounts and examples of heroin-related arrests, overdoses and deaths throughout Bergen County. Parents will leave with a practical, real-world education on the chilling effects heroin can have on the lives of their loved ones and the importance of good decision-making. WHS March Students of the Month

WALDWICK HIGH SCHOOL March Students of the Month 2017 – 2018 PHYSICAL EDUCATION NIKOLAS PAENG - Congratulations, Nikolas Paeng on being nominated the Physical Education student of the month! Nik is a current 10th-grade student and valuable member to Waldwick High School. Nik’s consisted effort, participation, behavior and positive attitude were recognized by his teacher and peers alike. He is a respectful young man that has great things to look forward to with his hard work and determination. We are lucky to have Nik as a part of the WHS team. VIDEO PRODUCTION MICHAEL McNAUGHT - Although Michael, a senior, did not have a video class since the eighth grade, he wanted to learn more about TV production. Since September he has been a passionate quick study in making quality videos in the Advanced TV 3 and TV 4 classes.  Mike’s overall creativity has helped him produce some of the most entertaining videos this year, not to mention providing the show with its fi
