Scheduling Process for the 21-22 School Year The guidance counselors will be meeting with each grade level over the next two weeks at 2:25pm via Google Meet regarding course selections for next year. Thursday 2/4 - Current 9th Graders Friday 2/5 - Current 10th Graders Monday 2/8 - Current 11th Graders *Meet invites will go out next week Over the next few days, students should start thinking about the elective courses they are interested in taking and review the 2021 - 2022 Program of Studies . Courses requests will be completed via a Google Form. The form will be reviewed by the counselors during the grade level meetings.  21-22 Course Offering Form    In late March, parents and students will have the ability to view and confirm course requests in Genesis Parent Access via the Course Request Tab. To All 8th Grade Students & Parents/Guardians, On Tuesday, January 26, the High School guidance counselors, Mrs. Gastman and Mrs. Fortini will be meeting with the eighth grade students regarding their schedule for next year. A Google Meet invite was sent to all 8th graders. The virtual meeting will take place at 2:25pm via Meet. Students will be making their requests online for the elective courses they are interested in using this form: Course Selection Form 21-22 SY (This form will be emailed to the students and can only be completed by a Waldwick School District Student) The core academic courses (Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies & World Language) are based on current grades and a placement test (Honors Only see below). Recommendations, including Honors placement, will be posted in March for student/parent review. Senior Yearbook Ads - Class of 2021

Class of 2021 You can now purchase a yearbook recognition ad for your child. Currently, our pricing is as follows: $100 for a full page, $75 for a half page, and $50 for a quarter page. All money collected from the senior ads will benefit the senior class. PSAT 10 - Class of 2023 (April 23, 2021)

SAVE THE DATE Waldwick High School will be hosting the PSAT 10 for all current Sophomores - Class of 2023, on Friday, April 23, 2021. This test will be available to Sophomores only.  We offer this national test free of charge during the school day. The PSAT is an excellent opportunity to prepare and gain an understanding of the SAT exam. PSAT study guides will be handed out to all Sophomores. English and Math teachers will be taking time to review the study guide with the students.  For full-time remote learners, we will be scheduling a time for you to pick up your study guide and pre-grid your answer sheet. A separate email will be sent regarding those details in late March.  If there is a parent/guardian who wishes not to have their child sit for the test, I ask that you have a conversation with your son's or daughter's guidance counselor prior to making that decision. SAT Testing - Class of 2022 (April 27, 2021)

Class of 2022 - We are going to offer the SAT in school on Tuesday, April 27, for any Junior who wants to take the test. The cost will be $52, which will be paid via PayForIt. More on those details later.  By Monday morning (9am) I need a final count of who wants to take the test so I can place the order. Please complete this form ONLY if you want to take the test. If you have any questions please reach out. We are offering the SAT test during the school day this year because of COVID-19.
