Update from  Pomptonian Food Service: Dear Parents/Guardians: The Waldwick Board of Education offers an internet-based payment system that allows you the option of paying for your child’s lunch on-line, via credit card or ACH (electronic check). This service also allows you to receive automated emails detailing your child’s account balance, which items they purchased, and if their balance is low.  Additionally, like EZ-Pass, there is an “auto-replenishment” option which allows you to set up a low-balance threshold and automatic debit amount to replenish your child’s account. Minding Your Mind Presentation - Just Talk About It

On Monday, April 15, the Waldwick Stigma Free Coalition in partnership with Waldwick High School and Waldwick Middle School are proud to present, “ Minding Your Mind , ” an organization who is committed to providing mental health education to adolescents, teens, young adults, parents and educators.  Mental health related issues are the second leading cause of death amongst young people ages 14-23. “Minding Your Mind” is an organization that strives to reduce stigma and the destructive behaviors associated with mental health. They seek to move away from crisis based response to prevention through education. Programs are designed to educate students and adults on signs and symptoms and emphasize that they are treatable and treatment is available. “Minding Your Mind” uses speakers who have struggled with mental health issues and are willing to share their stories of recovery. Subjects that may be addressed in these presentations include mood disorders, suicidal ideation

WHS Global Awareness Club - Fundraiser at Sky Zone on March 14

The Waldwick High School Global Awareness Club is sponsoring a fundraiser at Sky Zone Trampoline Park in Allendale. On Thursday, March 14 from 4-8 pm, customers will be able to pay the regular “Open Bounce” ticket price (see below for more details) and a percentage of the profit will be collected by the Global Awareness Club! The money collected by the club will then be donated to The Grace Project which helps fund education for children in Kenya. By helping support us at this fundraiser, we will be able to provide hundreds if not thousand of children with enough supplies to fulfill their needs to receive a better quality education along with tools and other items to aid in the process. In order for a donation to be made to the organization, you must show the flyer to the front desk at the time of the ticket purchase or mention that you are there for Waldwick’s event.  Snacks and drinks will also be provided during the fundraiser.  The prices for open bounce tickets per
