ACADEMICS

LUIS AMAYA - Luis has consistently put forth good effort in Geometry class.  He comes to class prepared and ready to do his best.  If he doesn't understand what is being asked of him, Luis will always ask for clarification with the greatest degree of respect.  Luis' completed homework assignments have aided his understanding of new concepts and skills, and have enabled him to achieve high grades on his tests.

CHILD DEVELOPMENT

NADINE AZARI - Nadine has participated in Consumer Science classes for two years.  Nadine is creative, pleasant, high-achieving and willing to assist with an instinctive sense of others.  Nadine began the year as a “floater” in the Kids, Kids, Kids Program, opting to work with all the children.  Mid-year, Nadine not only paired with one child for direct instruction, but is often spotted in the program teaching a cluster of children.  Nadine’s personality shines with a happy hello and a welcoming smile.  She is consistent in earning academic success, applying critical thinking skills, (especially with the technology additions to the program).  Thanks, Nadine, for all the memories, and great labs! 

ATHLETICS

KAITLYN OTTAVIO – Katie is a key member of the Girls Varsity Softball Team, and was recently inducted in to the Waldwick High School National Honor Society.  She has been a big contributor to the success that the team is having this season.  Katie is a true leader on and off the field.
