SCIENCE


BRYAN FOTINO - Bryan, a senior, is this month's Science Student of the Month in recognition of his excellent performance in AP Physics.  Bryan is quick to grasp complex new concepts in Physics and is able to apply his understanding to solving practical problems. He has shown that he is able to design scientific experiments with only minimal supervision or guidance and takes a thorough and systematic approach to the collection and analysis of data. Bryan consistently demonstrates the ability to think like a scientist and work like a scientist at a very high level.

CAD


DANIEL SCHERB - Dan, a senior in CAD IV, has excelled in CAD beyond expectations gaining four years of CAD experience in three years.  In addition to classroom activities, Dan participated in a CAD competition last year and his expertise is a tremendous asset for the Interscholastic STEM competitions.  One of Dan’s best modeling achievements is the modeling of a prosthetic hand.

ATHLETICS


ERIN SCOTT Erin is a senior on the Cross Country Team this fall.  This was Erin's first year competing on the Cross Country Team and she had a tremendous season.  She was named First Team All-League after finishing 5th in the NJIC Championship Meet.  Erin then competed in the Bergen County Championships, where she ran well and qualified for the Bergen Meet of Champions.  Erin finally qualified and competed in the State Sectional Championships in November to cap off a great fall season.

GRIFFIN PRICE Griffin is a senior captain on the boys soccer team, which captured the NJIC Patriot Division title this fall.  In November the team won its second straight state sectional title.  Griffin scored two goals in the sectional final, the second one in overtime to give the Warriors a 2-1 win.  Griffin was named First Team All-League, second team all-county, and to the North 1 section all-state team.  He had a memorable senior season this fall leading the Warriors boys soccer team.
