SIGN UP INSTRUCTIONS:
The Career Cafés will be held on a monthly basis during the students lunch period. Students who register via Naviance for one of the Career Café sessions MUST bring a brown bag lunch to school that day. Time is limited, so students will not have time to purchase a school prepared lunch. You cannot be late for a Career Café presentation, and no one will be admitted if they do not arrive on time. The presenters are volunteering their time to the students of WHS, and that time should be respected by being in your seat at the Career Café when the bell rings.
We have a limited number of seats per each Career Café lunch session. A maximum of 15 students can sign-up for a specific session. You must sign-up via Naviance. Registrations are based on a FIRST COME / FIRST SERVE basis. Once the 15 maximum enrollment number is reached, registration will be locked and will not allow any more students to sign up. If you sign-up /register for a Career Cafe - You are EXPECTED TO ATTEND the presentation.
The Career Café sessions will be listed in Naviance under the COLLEGE VISITS link. Because this link is normally used for scheduling college visits to the upper classmen, we must schedule the Career Café sessions in the same manner. So they will be found under the College Tab and College visit sign-up section in Naviance.

Select the COLLEGE TAB in Naviance
STEP #2
Click on the VIEW ALL UPCOMING COLLEGE VISITS to the right side of the screen. You will see a list of all Career Cafes scheduled to date.
STEP #3
Click on the SIGN UP link next to the Career Café that corresponds to YOUR LUNCH PERIOD (1st, 2nd, or 3rd lunch period). This link will bring you to the Information section for that specific Career Café.
STEP #4
Select the SIGN ME UP button at the bottom of the page.
Now all you have to do is mark the date and time down in your school planner, smart phone, etc. and report to the Career Café during your lunch period on that specific date.

BY REGISTERING FOR A CAREER CAFÉ, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY GRANTING PERMISSION FOR THE FOLLOWING:
WEBSITE PERMISSION: By signing-up for a Career Café you are granting permission for a photo/image of yourself without any other personal identifiers to be published on the school and/or district’s public internet site.
PHOTO DISPLAY PERMISSION: By signing-up for a Career Café you are granting permission to have current photos/videos of yourself displayed for school related projects within school buildings as well as outside the school buildings such as newspaper articles, district newsletters, guidance newsletters, and TV/Video shows.
