November Students of the Month 2014 – 2015
SCIENCE
ALEC MEKARZEL – Alec, a junior,
is the Science Department student of the month
for his performance in two science classes, Physics and Computer Science. Alec was nominated by his teachers because he
is a hard-working and self-driven student.
He has a thirst for knowledge and pushes himself to know and understand
the principles of science. Alec displays
a sense of imagination and creativity within a technical context and has an ability
to apply his Computer Science knowledge to excel in Physics and his other
classes.
CAD
SEAN MARRO –
Sean, a senior, is currently enrolled in CAD III. He has set the pace for the rest of the class
maintaining a 100 average for the year. Not
only does Sean work hard in class learning CAD software, but Sean also intends
to participate in the Architectural 2D CAD Design event at the State Technology
Student Association Design Competition in March. After graduating from Waldwick High School,
Sean hopes to become an architect.
ATHLETICS
ERIN ARCHER – Erin, a
senior, was one of the girls soccer team’s three captains
this year. She did a fantastic job as a
leader in her senior season. Erin
finished first on the team with eight goals scored and scored five goals over
the team’s final three games. She was a constant impact in the soccer games
whether scoring goals or helping to create them. Erin has been an excellent student as well
this fall, receiving A’s and B’s first MP in all of her classes. Erin is going to be extremely tough to replace
next year.
DANIEL WALSH – Dan,
a senior, played his final high school soccer season leading the boys soccer
team to the State Sectional Championship this month with his outstanding play
in goal. He was the vocal leader of a
defense that dominated the playoffs. Dan
also was able to excel in his classes during the first marking period, securing
all A’s and B’s. Dan will finish his
soccer career with a 3rd Team All-County honor, a First Team All-League honor,
and three league titles.
It helps users creating designs in 2D so that they can visualize the construction. 2D CAD Design enables the development, modification, and optimization of the design process. CAD enables the development, modification, and optimization of the design process.
