Waldwick CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) - Parent Meeting 6/3

Image
You are invited to be a part of our very own Waldwick CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) cooperative this summer.  Sponsor a week in our school garden and have access to fresh, healthy, locally grown produce all summer long.  Our CSA is student run right on the campus of Waldwick High School. On Tuesday, June 3rd, the students will host an informative short orientation and a tour of the garden for anyone who would like to be involved.  The program will start at 6:00 pm in the school library and will only last about an hour.  Come out and check it out! If you would like to help out but cannot make the meeting, please email:   opderbeckt@waldwick.k12.nj.us Thanks in advance for your support!

Honors Precalculus Students Create Polar Art

Students from Ms. Compton's Honors Precalculus class just finished a unit on polar coordinates.  Students used Geometry Sketchpad software to create the graphs of polar equations and then removed the "math" (axes, equations, etc.) and colored in the rest. The students  created some really beautiful designs.   The video below shows what they created!
