BUSINESS

PANAGIOTA PAPAMICHAEL - Pennie, a senior, has taken several business classes throughout her time at Waldwick High School.  In each one, she has taken pride in her work and eagerly participates during class discussions and activities.  Pennie also proves to be an amazing peer mentor and offers to help those around her.  She is creative, has excellent problem-solving skills, works hard and will do very well in the business world!
NORMA BELHACHEM - Norma, a senior, has taken several business classes since coming to Waldwick High School as she prepares to major in the accounting field in college.  She shows such promise and dedication to succeeding in the accounting field.  Norma consistently asks questions to learn more and further her understanding of
the financial aspect of businesses.  Norma is great at collaborating with peers and serving
as a mentor to those around her.

INSTRUMENTAL

RYAN GRIFFIN - Ryan, a senior, has played clarinet in Concert Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band and Pep Band since middle school. Ryan demonstrates a lot of technical skill over the whole range of the instrument and is always ready for the challenge of playing in the upper register.  As a student with excellent technical ability, he was recommended and selected to perform  with  the Caldwell College Honor Band the past two years.  In addition to his contributions as a musician,  Ryan has also served as one of the Drum Majors for the Marching Band this past season.  He is a fine leader, one who demonstrates a high level of commitment to all of the school’s musical ensembles and is willing to devote extra time to help the director.

ATHLETICS

JILLIAN REYNOLDS Jillian is a sophomore on the Indoor Track Team this season.  This winter Jillian is excelling at the distance races.  At the NJIC Championship Meet on January 8, Jillian finish second in the 1600 meters, an impressive performance.  She will only continue to get better this season and has more medals to come.  Jillian is also medaling in the classroom where she is posting straight A’s in all of her classes, including a load full of Honors courses.  Jillian is an outstanding student-athlete and one we are proud to call a Warrior.

ROBERT GUERRA Bobby is a senior Captain in the Boys Basketball Team this winter.  This season has been tough for the Warriors, but Bobby has been an outstanding leader in the boys basketball program.  He bring his best effort each day in practice and in games.  He scored 8 points in a win over league rival, Park Ridge, on January 22 and is one of the team's leading rebounders despite being undersized.  Bobby has been getting it done in the classroom as well, boasting straight A’s in all of his classes, including a schedule full of AP and Honors courses.  Bobby is a true student-athlete and everything a Warrior should be.
