WHS March Students of the Month

WALDWICK HIGH SCHOOL
March Students of the Month
2014 – 2015

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

MATTHEW HUNT – Matthew, a junior, is the Physical Education Student of the Month. Matt is an extremely hard worker who always brings a smile and positive attitude with him to Physical Education.  He has been an excellent role model throughout the year, regardless of the unit.  Matthew demonstrates great effort, participation and sportsmanship.  His favorite sports are soccer and baseball.  Great job Matt and keep up the great work!

VIDEO PRODCTION

JOHN PELECH – John, a senior, is the Video Production Student of the Month.  As a freshman, John never feared bringing his unique perspective and creativity to the projects he produced in TV Production 1.  From that point on, he has never looked back and continues to express himself and his unique ideas in the classroom.  John always listened to his teacher, constantly absorbed new information and honed his skills over time as a producer, editor, and actor.  John is a supernatural force at the Warrior Broadcast Center, a true storyteller who never lets his audience down.

ATHLETICS

HALLIE DONOFRIO – Hallie, a junior, is the Female Athlete Student of the Month.  Academically, Hallie has averaged seven A's and one B for the first two marking periods.  She is an exceptional student and has also become quite a teacher during the softball preseason.  Already the best softball player in Waldwick High School, Hallie has been a mentor to many of our younger players and a role model to all teammates.  Her level of communication is unparalleled and has our team ready to compete when our regular season starts on April 1.  Hallie has shown to be a leader in the classroom and on the field and the coaches feel very fortunate to coach such a great student.

ANTHONY MARCHESE – Anthony, a junior, is the Male Athlete Student of the Month.  Anthony is a returning varsity starter and was very instrumental in helping our team to qualify for the 2014 State Tournament and post a 14-9 record.  This year, Anthony has proven to be an excellent leader by setting a positive tone for our early season practices.  It's obvious from the first few weeks of the season that Anthony has worked very hard since last year to improve has skills and raise his level of play.
