Global Empathy Project

In the spring, the 129 freshmen at Waldwick High School participated in a Global Empathy Project that consisted of researching global issues and taking action to raise awareness. The students took the project to the next level and initiated fundraisers throughout the school and community as an effort to support these causes and raised a total of $2,746.

One group of three students raised over $700, 25.5% of the total, to donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Hannah Corbisiero, Kiera McGovern and Danielle Burke showed tremendous initiative, motivation, and compassion towards aiding the efforts of pediatric cancer research. Congratulations to them for such an amazing and inspiring accomplishment.

A huge thank you to all the Blue Print teachers for all the work they put towards the Global Empathy Project!
