It's Chromebook Time

On Monday, September 28th we are rolling out the Chromebooks!!!!  This is an exciting day for everyone at Waldwick High School and we can't wait to get them into the hands of our students.  There are few things that need to be completed in order for each student to get their Chromebook.  We still have some parents that have not submitted the required forms through Genesis Parent Access.  Two of the forms were posted in August, but one was just posted on Friday 9/18.   Here is what needs to be submitted:

In Genesis under the FORMS tab you should see:

*High School Parent Signature Sheet
*Chromebooks and GAFE Links
(These to forms have been posted since August 19)

*District Technology Devices
(New Form, only post on 9/18)

As a reminder FORMS are only visible when signed in under a parent account

The new form "District Technology Devices" covers the "Chromebook Damage Protection Agreement" and two other district policies.   Waldwick High School is offering a damage protection option for the Chromebooks that will be provided to all high school students.  The non-refundable fee for the 2015-2016 school year will be $40 plus a transaction fee. This link explains the protection plan: Chromebook Damage Protection Agreement"

This year, the Waldwick School District has partnered with PayForIt to handle fee payment. To complete the process you will need to setup an account, add your student(s) to your account, then process the payment. See my recent post for step by step directions: PayForIt directions - Chromebook Damage Protection

In order for a student to receive their Chromebook, these three forms need to be submitted online along with payment protection plan.
